When you go to googledocs, the first thing you have to do is make sure that you have uploaded the document so that it's in the folders that you created. Choose people as readers or as editors depending on how much you want them to do to the document. Hope this was useful

We are really going to have to do battle over our contract! What a waste of our time and energy. I think that this was predetermined. Board of Ed elections are coming up soon. I think we going to have to try to influence that election.

On another note - can anyone give me info about Google docs sharing. I am trying to share edit privileges with other people. But they are not able to access the doc. Can anyone tell me the steps to allow others to access and edit a Google Doc. Have a great weekend. Thanks in advance!

Greetings All

I would like to hear ideas for using yesterday's info. The first thing I am going to work on is utilizing the Google form for Portfolio learning. I will ask stud. to fill-out a 3 question form about the lesson, I will mail merge the data collected into a doc. that I can print out and put into their Port/Folders. Did the instructor also say we could let stud. take test and it could automatically be graded? If so, someone please let me know how that works again.

Today's Workshop!

Hey Leap Co-Students,

This was not as smooth a process as I thought it would be. I found it difficult to navigate to the permissions tab at first. Also, excuse if I invited you twice, that to was a bit awkward, too. So I thing I have added you all as authors, the only people that can write are us but it is viewable by the public. I do not know if you can invite others, I encourage you to try though.
Does anyone have any reflections from today's session. I think I will try to develop a Wiki for the novel my students are reading, because we are so consumed by the NJ ASK prep it is hard to complete anything else in class. Does anyone know how we upload a Excel spread sheets to Wikispace.com? IF so, let me know, I think I was involved in another app when she went over that concept.
